True, but the girls who actually do think for themselves usually turn out to be obnoxious, sexist b*****s. Or, at least, that's been my experience. Maybe I live in the wrong part of the world.

You do. It's called you gotta look for the smart girls who are good at Physics. Those aren't the sexists ones, just the brilliant ones that can pwn you at Calculus. And if you don't mind getting Calculus tutoring from one of them, it turns out to be a pretty good deal.

I can hear my train comin' It's a lonesome and distant cry I can hear my train comin' Now I'm runnin' for my life What makes a man walk away from his mind? I think I know I think I might know
I can feel the wind blowin' It's sending shivers down my spine I can feel the wind blowin' It shakes the trees and the power lines What makes a man spend his whole life in disguise? I think I know I think I might know
I think I might know I think I might know, oh oh
I can see the sun settin' It's casting shadows on the sea I can see the sun, it's setting It's getting colder, starting to freeze What makes a man want to break a heart with ease? I think I know I think I might know
I think I might know I think I might know, oh oh
Well I can hear my train comin' Looks like time is not on my side Well I can hear my train comin' I'm still runnin' for my life What makes a man pray, when he's about to die? I think I know I think I might know
I think I might know I think I might know, oh oh, oh oh
I think I might know I think I might know, woah oh

"I know this life I lead will pass away Along with every other earthly thing So I will set my heart on a higher plain Where my treasure lies with You
And in this marriage of our hearts There is no death do us part For You are eternal And I am eternally Yours
And I could never lose Your love to sickness Oh I could never lose You to divorce And there's no concept of abandonment For I am safe within Your arms
And in this marriage of our hearts There is no death do us part For You are eternal And I am eternally Yours Oh I am eternally Yours I am eternally Yours
(No abandonment) (Safe within Your arms)
I never had enough until I found You I never knew love until I met You I never had enough until I found You And now I have everything
And in this marriage of our hearts There is no death do us part For You are eternal And I am eternally Yours And I am eternally Yours Oh I am eternally Yours
I could never lose You No I will never lose You I could never lose You
And this life will pass away But You will never change Oh this life will pass away Oh but You will never change"
- Sanctus Real "Eternal". This song has a very U2ish feel to it that I absolutely love. Pretty meaningful lyrically, too. And can be interpreted in a couple of different ways.

Here is the song Frontline by Pillar
It's not like I'm walking alone into the valley of the shadow of death Stand beside one another, 'cause it ain't over yet I'd be willing to bet that if we don't back down You and I will be the ones that are holding the Crown in the end When it's over, we can say, "Well done" But not yet, 'cause it's only begun So, pick up, and follow me, we're the only ones To fight this thing, until we've won We drive on and don't look back It doesn't mean we can't learn from our past All the things that we mighta done wrong We could've been doing this all along
Everybody, with your fists raised high Let me hear your battle cry tonight Stand beside, or step aside We're on the frontline
And we'll be carrying on, until the day it doesn't matter anymore Step aside, you forgot what this is for We fight to live, we live to fight And tonight, you'll hear my battle cry We live our lives on the frontlines We're not afraid of the fast times These days have opened up my eyes And now, I see where the threat lies
We've got to lead the way

Avenged Sevenfold's "Second Heartbeat" We keep writing, talking and planning, but everything's changing. We all know what to do but no one does it. Now this time has passed and full of regret.
Two in my heart have left me a while, I stand alone. When they get back, it won't be the same.
My life, you've always been there. Now you're gone and my head's spinning. Left the childhood, left the memories, left the good times in the past. Moving on your time has run out.
Wishing the clock would stand still, the world can wait. Wasting away once again, once lived as friends.
As time passes by, regrets for the rest of my life. The ones who I confide were gone in the black of the night.
Never will I forget you, and all the memories past. So rarely I get to see your face. Growing I looked to you in guidance. We knew that time would kill us, but you're still so close to me.
To me you were my life. To me you were my soul companion. Now you are so far away. Nothing can take away the times and the memories we had.
Come back - to the days when we were young Come back - to the days when nothing mattered To the days when nothing mattered
And I feel time passes by, regrets for the rest of my life. The ones who I confide were gone in the black of the night.
As time passes by, regrets for the rest of my life. The ones who I confide were gone in the black of the night.

Stratovarius - "Liberty"
Sun is shining Sky is so blue I'm filled with hope It's promising The course my life is taking Searching of my truth has brought me here Facing things with confidence That all will be ok the past is gone Life goes on Memories remain I break the chain of misery and pain
Marching to a different drum Shines my liberty It's growing stronger every day I feel it in me Leading me to a different world Freedom shows the way It's there for you and me to find It's heaven on earth
I'm standing here today and understand There is no reason to hide anymore So many things to see so many things to gain My life is not in vain
Marching to a different drum Shines my liberty It's growing stronger every day I feel it in me Leading me to a different world Freedom shows the way It's there for you and me to find It's heaven on earth

I was lost between the midnight and the dawning In a place of no consequence or company Sweet 33 when the numbers fell off the clock face Speed dialling with no signal at all
Go, shout it out, rise up Oh, ohhh Escape yourself, and gravity Hear me, cease to speak that I may speak Shush now Oh, ohhh Force quit and move to trash
I was right there at the top of the bottom On the edge of the known universe where I wanted to be I had driven to the scene of the accident And I sat there waiting for me
Restart and reboot yourself You’re free to go Oh, ohhh Shout for joy if you get the chance Password, you, enter here, right now
Oh, ohhh You know your name so punch it in Hear me, cease to speak that I may speak Shush now Oh, ohhh Then don’t move or say a thing

I sold my piano It couldn't come with me I locked up my bedroom And I walked out into the air When nothing I needed Is left there behind me I walk out through the shadows Of Washington Square
I wandered the highways from Dublin to Berkeley And I heard the songbirds of Valley Paurine I love like a fountain And it left me with nothing Just the memories of walking through Washington Square
Now I live in the shadows Where light is electric And time is a number That rests on a wall
And nobody knows me My friends and my family Are as far from this city As Washington Square
So cover this warm night In a blanket of starlight Then I'll follow this freeway Out into the air
In case you should wonder And wanted to find me I'm traveling homeward to Washington Square I'm traveling homeward to Washington Square Washington Square Washington Square
